Honestly, I was drawn to the restaurant by the music. There was a Cuban band playing, it was right off the beach, and it set the perfect atmospheric tone for the food we were craving right at that moment. Couples were dancing, there was a steady stream of foot traffic right off the patio at which we were seated, and there were plenty of tropical cocktails to keep us living in the moment. The food was delicious – hearty, fresh, deep flavors that weren’t too heavy for a beach setting. And yuca. I need more yuca in my life.
