I have such a soft spot for doner kebab in Europe. I don’t know how much Europeans actually partake, but doner kebab has always been a big part of my European experience. Particularly late-night, headed home after a night out faire. We went for lunch on this day and it was so good. They shaved the meat off the spit, gave us some of everything for toppings, sat back and watched us inhale the entire box. I’m sure there are lots of technical reasons doner kebab is so darn good. But I don’t really need to know them. Shave some meat off a spinning meat stick for me any day and I betcha I’ll love it.
