When I walk into Murray’s, I usually have to blink back my tears of happiness. I love cheese. So much. And Murray’s is just the most beautiful home I could imagine for my beloved cheese. The staff are so kind. And extremely knowledgeable. They usually know what you like after a few seconds of conversation and some gentle eye contact.
On this particular day, we took a cheese class: Cheese 101. 7 cheeses. Red wine. Sparkling wine. Snacks. And cheese talk (my favorite subject). Our instructor did such a good job of making the science interesting, giving (surprisingly) interesting historical context, and helping us hone our cheese-tasting skills. It was awesome. I can’t wait to do it again. I miss it there.
