Chefchaouen is the Blue City in Morocco. The walls are all painted the same blue which gives the city a mystical feel. It’s a small village in the Rif mountains that looks like it was plucked out of children’s book. You feel like something special has happened, is happening, or will happen there.
On the particular day that we were visiting, it was really hot. Like, 110-degrees-Fahrenheit-hot. Tagines didn’t sound great that day… luckily, we were served these delicious kebabs on beautiful Chefchaouen-blue plates. Just what we needed to perk up from the heat and keep exploring the Blue City.
