Tagine in Marrakech

This was our last dinner in Marrakech. Made by our host, Anwar, at the riad. Anwar became very special to us during our stay at the Riad Jaaneman. He was an advisor, a chef, a tour guide, a care-taker, a gracious host. He took such great care of us and prepared all of, what turned out to be, our favorite meals including this tagine. This one was so full of rich flavors and melt-in-your-mouth lamb. And topped off with oranges and cinnamon. Yum.

The riad itself was an incredibly peaceful, cool escape from the heat and activity of the city. It was gorgeous.
